A team can drop any player that is on their roster at any time during the season up until the final roster date. The player that is dropped is permanently removed from team and is placed on waivers and becomes available to all other teams in the league for 48 hours following drop. The lowest team in the standings that claims player will be able to add player to roster and must immediately drop another player from their roster, who subsequently becomes available for waivers. All players that are dropped and not claimed become available prior to the day teams name their final 15 player roster, with the lowest ranked team having first priority. The team that originally dropped a player from their roster is not eligible to pick up same player at a later time. Any players picked up from the waiver wire will not be eligible to be on playoff roster.
